Our barn in Odessa, FL is a family-friendly, safe, and supportive environment for horseback riding and training. Through private lessons and more, we teach you to ride the right way - emphasizing the respect and responsibility needed to make a successful horse and rider team.
We are a past Reserve World Champion of the American Saddlebred Breed Ambassador, and have won FSHPP Barn of the Year in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Owner Krystle Lee was named the 2024 UPHA Chapter 16 Horse Person of the Year. As breeders and trainers, our horses and riders have experienced success at the local, regional, and national levels.
We offer horseback riding lessons and horsemanship training for any skill level, as well as horse boarding, training, and breeding. Any level of rider is welcome, whether you want to ride weekly for enjoyment or have goals to own a hrose and compete at higher levels.
Growing up in the Midwest, Krystle competed as a juvenile and amateur with American Saddlebreds.
She received her B.S. in Equestrian Science from the renown William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.
Krystle has been awarded Instructor of the Year by the Florida State High Point Program. Besides training horses, she also judges at several horse shows around the country.
In addition, Krystle is an active member of the AMHA, ARIA, ASHA, CHA, UPHA, and USEF professional organizations.
Founded in 2007, Suncoast Stables offers customers a lighted covered and open arena, stalls and wash racks, multiple pasture areas, and other amenities.
We specialize in American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Arabians, hackneys, and roadsters. We teach lessons in Saddleseat, Dressage, Western, and Hunt Seat.

Our horsemanship training program is structured around weekly one-on-one instruction in our arena that accomodates all skill levels. Gain confidence in your skills quickly through our team's expert private horseback riding instruction.
Stall boarding includes daily turn out and stall cleaning, automatic watering, and multiple daily feeding times with a balanced diet to ensure high performance. We also offer pasture boarding.
Training programs are available for young horses, show horse prospects, and seasoned show horses. Programs are customized to each horse and rider/driver to ensure goals are met. Horses are trained multiple times per week.
We breed American Saddlebreds through natural mating and artificial insemination, researching bloodlines and potential suitors worldwide.
Experience the thrill of competing and winning blue ribbons at Academy level shows, larger regional shows, or national shows. You will also be eligible for Florida State High Point Program awards!
These camps focus on horsemanship training. Divided by age groups and held rain or shine, it's a great way to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy being outside riding horses.

We are committed to providing you a great experience for your horse or horsemanship training. All training is by appointment only. We do NOT offer trail riding.
For more information or to schedule training, please call us at 813-368-0666. You must turn in a completed Client Application, Release Form, and Medical Form (links below) in order to be on property. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time, as late arrivals cannot receive extended time. Proper riding attire is required, which includes long pants and closed toe hard-soled shoes. ASTM F1163-15/SEI Certified helmets are available.
